Earthquake @ Japan
International news
8.9 grade earthquake happened at Japan on 11th of march 2011.More than 600 people die in this incident. This number was out from expected because this was the most serious earthquake happened in japan. After the earthquakes happened believed that countries near by Japan like Taiwan, hawaii, Sabah of Malaysia will get affected and maybe will have tsunami.
In hawaii, there were lots of people rush to supermarket to buy daily use things. As a comparison, Japanese very calm in handle this serious incident. In Japan, they will have pre-earthquake practise every year. Supermarket,7-11, hotels.. they provide free service and food for victims.
Most japanese lined up in front of telephone, train station, very calm and quiet. News reporter wear helmet while reporting news and they keep themselves calm to report and teach victims about what to do.
I wouldn't imagine how our government will handle this kind of incident if this happen in our country. I can sure this will be a mess. A lot people running and crying. The number of victims keep increasing.
There was a japanese that commented on web in 2004 which said that : i feel lucky that this earthquake happen in Japan not other country. Only Japan able to decrease the number of victims dead and handle this kind of incident clamly. I agree with his say. Although Japan is shaked by earthquake but their heart still stay calm and strong. This also teached other country a lesson in handling this type of serious incident.

Ladyboy is accepted as Flight Attendant
Thai Airline Recruits Ladyboy Flight Attendants
International News
International News
A new Thailand airline is hiring transsexual ladyboys as flight attendants, aiming at a unique identity to set itself apart from competitors as it sets out for the skies.
Transgender and Transsexuals which known as ‘katoeys” or “ladyboys” have greater vivibility in Thailand than any other nations. They were holding mainstream jobs in variety fields. They are quite common to work in cosmetics shops or health stores.
PC Air, a charter airline set to start operations on Asian routes in April, change their mind to hires transvestites and transsexuals after they received more than 100 job applications. Before that, they planned to hire male and female flight attendants only.
The qualifications for the ladyboy flight attendants were set as the same with female flight attendants with the additional provisos that they be like women in how they walk and talk and have a feminine voice and the right attitude.
PC Air president Peter Chan said that he need to spent more time to interview them to make sure they have feminine characters. Though excited by the opportunity, the transexxual flight attendants said they were aware they needed to prove themselves. It’s time for them to prove themselves.
Actually, I think that, people will always keep an eye on them where ever they go because they are special. They are male in identification card but they act like a woman. Some of them even more feminine than a real woman. This is the special place of ladyboy. It is a good thing that they getting more aware by people. They could get job and won’t be ignore by people. They were just human like us, so why should we avoid them. All human being is equality, no matter what gender she or he is.
Valentine's Day is for Christian only
No Valentine’s Day Crackdown
Local News
MP Khalid Samad of PAS has clarified that there will be no crackdown on Muslims celebrating Valentine’s Day in Pakatan Rakyat stats as claimed by PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hasan recently.
Before that on Facebook, there were a video about Nasrudin giving speech that Muslim should not celebrates Valentine’s Day. She claimed that Valentine’s Day is just for Christian. She said that PAS will take action on those teenage who celebrates Valentine’s Day and do immoral activities on that day.
Khalid said the party was only concerned on youths who commit immoral activities on Valentine’s Day. Nasrudin view is personal and does not represent the state government. In fact, they actually never discussed any crackdown on Valentine’s Day in their recent PAS’s national political bureau.
Meanwhile, Council of Churches Malaysia secretary-general Reverend Hermen Shastri pointed out that celebration of Valentine’s day is a purely “secular” observation which has no ties to Christianity. Valentine’s Day is a purely secular observance and not celebrated in Malaysian churches or any other part of the world. The Council of Churches feels that the National Fatwa Council has unfairly portrayed Valentine’s Day as a Christian observance.
For my opinion, Valentine’s Day is celebrated by all races and it is a worldwide activity. You can choose not to celebrate it but not to conclude it as a Christian activity. Valentine’s Day is always romantic for those couples. For single, it doesn’t matter if it is a Valentine’s Day, life still goes on. I feel that Nasrudin shouldn’t make a conflict among Valentine’s Day with Islam. I support campaign which give counseling for youth for not doing immortal activities but give restriction for muslim for not celebrating an event is a bit too over.

Bring 30 years of Mubarak rule to the end
Egypt protestors gear up for " Friday Of Departure"
International News
Thousands of Egyptians gathered in a Central Cairo Square on Friday to force the immediate resignation of President Hosni Murbarak, in what the crowd dubbed “ Friday Of Departure”.
Many of the crowd had overnight in Tahrir Square. Some of them pitched tents or slept on ground, defying calls from the army and the vice president they should go home because their demands had been heard.
As the protests demanding an end to 30 years of Mubarak rule entered their 11th day, the army began removing barricades the protesters had erected after supporters of the president launched a deadly assault on them two days ago that left at least 10 dead and more than 800 wounded.
Other than that, today at Kuala Lumpur hundreds of people gathered on front of the US Embassy in support of Egyptians demanding the ouster of president Hosni Mubarak. Pakatan Rakyat Leaders, made up a group of Led of a number of non-governmental organizations marched from the KLCC mosque after Fridays prayers to the embassy to hand over a memorandum urging the US government to refrain from interfering in protests in Cairo.
This incident becomes more serious and worst. Even Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia started rescue students from Egypt to Jeddah. I just hope that US would concern about this matter and take action very quickly so that all the people in Egypt could live in peace. I hope it won’t get more serious and starts war.

In my area, it’s quite well because we won’t have flood. But for others lower area, their home were lost. A lot of roads had closed due to the flood. I hope that everything will be right soon for all those flood victims.

International News
International News
Protesters from Egypt geared up for the biggest protests yet on Friday to end Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's three-decade rule, while demonstrators fought security forces into the early morning hours in the eastern city of Suez.
In central Cairo yesterday demonstrators burnt tyres and hurled stones at police. In Suez, protesters torched a government building. Protesters chucked rocks and petrol bombs at police lines.
Police fought with thousands of Egyptians with firing rubber bullets, tear gas and dragging away demonstrators. Up to five people were killed in this incident include a police. Police have arrested more than 500 demonstrators among these two days. Some police in civilian clothes hauled them away and bundled them into unmarked van.
“Egypt’s Muslims and Christians will go out to fight against corruption, unemployment and oppression and absence of freedom,” one of the protesters wrote on Facebook page. More than 70,000 people have signed up online for the page. Facebook and twitter have helped drive this week’s protest. The internet went down. Twitter confirmed its site is blocked on Tuesday.
Even Noble Prize winner Mohamed Elbaradei who returned to Egypt from Vienna this Thursday, said that he would join the protest on Friday.
Egypt’s population of some 80 million is growing by two per cent a year. Two thirds of the population is under 30, and that age group accounts for 90 per cent of the jobless. About 40 per cent live on less than $2 (RM6.20) a day and a third are illiterate.
I wondering the minister of Egypt will give what response. I will keep an eye on this news. It just too shock to know about this news. For me, I thought that Egypt was just a simple country with lots of mysteries. I don’t realize that actually they live in suffer based on the information up there which shows 40% live on less than RM6.20. I guess I know too little about this world. People’s need to speak out ! Other than that, I also glad that I live in a multi-country that so focus on 1 Malaysia. We live in peace although different language, different region, different colour of skin.

She found that pendrive on the floor of KLCC. The pendrive only contain this video. She posted this video because she feels that its unfair to the dog. There a news said that the dog may dead three years ago.

This 15 minutes dog abused video is the longest video I saw. When the video is shared on Facebook, immediately I take a look on it. I didn’t realise that it will be an issue everybody discussed on Facebook. This news is even on Taiwan news. I feel angry with this kind of owner. He really lost his mind to treat a dog like this. A dog also owns its life. I really hope police will take action on this two human who lost their humanity.

Residents of Brisbane, the capital of northeast Queensland state which was devastated by flooding last week, were sandbagging low-lying homes again as a high tide was expected on the main river that snakes through the city.

After more than a month of preparations and fasting, Millions of Hindu devotees made their way up the 272 steps of Batu Caves to the Sri Subramaniar Swamy temple yesterday to fulfil their vows during Thaipusam. Like in the years before, some vows carried in kavadis of different sizes decorated with peacock feathers and lights; Many others have shad their head bald to carry pal-kodam ( milk pots ) , with face and body pierced with the vel ( lance) to show their appreciation to Lord Muruga.
This year Thaipusam celebration became special with the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak. He said that Thaipusam although originally is a Hindu Festival, but now is a part of Malaysia’s multicultural celebration.
Something happens during his speech. A few Human Rights Party ( HRP) demonstrators carried placards to send the message that they are unhappy with the Malay literature textbook titled Interlok in schools. 9 of the demonstrators were arrested after 20 minutes by polices.
I felt glad and happy that I live in a multicultural country. On that day, we got Public holiday and celebrate it together. I can’t imagine the pain when they try to put the vel on their body, it feels like pulling our skin and the kavadis are heavy to carry. But to show their appreciation to Lord Muruga, a lot of them did it. I am proud of them !! Happy Thaipusam !
